Have been using this bag for about 2 years. It’s been on countless commutes, day rides, and bike packing trips. I can say it is a durable, truly waterproof, lightweight, and easy to use bag. I have found no real drawbacks with it, and its an integral part of my kit. Price is great too.

I won this bag from Arkel and I love it! I am 166 cm so my bike is pretty small, but this bag fits perfect. I use it for gravelroutes and it is water and dirt proof. It is very easy to attach and to open and close. It would definately be worth the money for me. Before I used a different handlebar bag, but I actually prefer this ons. Thanks Arkel!

I just wrote a review of my Dolphin bags today, so it’s appropriate to say that I bought one of these bags about 18 month’s ago and love it. I’ve used it on some shorter rides, but also on two longer rides of 10 days or so. It’s light, easy to attach to my drop-bar bike, and great to use when off the bike with the included shoulder strap. I fitted a piece of foam to the bottom with a cut-out for my camera (an extra cost of $15 at the local foam shop to get the right cut), and it’s now the perfect camera bag for me. I have a Fuji XT-3 camera and on a bike trip I usually have the 10-24 mm F4 water-resistant lens on – the camera fits securely but is always immediately to hand when the perfect shot appears. I don’t see a way to attach a photo of what it looks like on this review, but would send them to Arkel if they’d like to see it. Finally, this is superb value-for-money. It is totally functional, robust-enough and the waterproofing is simple yet bulletproof. Highly recommended and I’ve seen nothing that compares for less than 150 USD or 200 Cdn.

Bought this as a medium capacity bag for the gravel bike and it doesn’t disappoint. Waterproof, hard wearing, and portable when off the bike. Has a fair amount of room for all the essentials.

Hi just a quick response to say that your product is great. Well made and just the right size for transporting my drone when I’m cycling around the Scottish Highlands. Fast delivery and very happy with the product. I’d happily be an ambassador for your products if you’re ever looking for anyone to be one in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 👍

I had recently purchased a smaller handlebar bag from Rapha for my gravel bike. I really liked its quality and function. I was considering one for my road bike. I soon received an e-mail from Arkel featuring the BB Packer Waterproof Handlebar bag. It seemed just what I wanted so I ordered it and it arrived quickly to my home in Michigan. It is perfect for my longer solo rides, just the right size and equal to or surpassing the Rapha bag in quality and function, no small feat. I have other Arkel bags and this one joins the stable of reliable and long lasting bags. They are just the best.

I ordered this bag primarily for my road bike to carry stuff, snacks and extra layers when my wife and I are out for day rides. We also have a Roadrunner Jammer bag, which is very good but is much more expensive. In the end, I have kept the Jammer bag for my bike and my wife is using the Arkel BB Packer for her bike because the Jammer is too big for her handlebars. So far the Arkel bag has been excellent – a great size for wallets, keys, phone, snacks, etc with room left over for extra layers of clothes. The Jammer can expand to about 15 litres but most of the time we don’t need that extra capacity for what we are doing. Construction quality appears to be excellent and it is simple to get on and off the bike. Lots of thoughtful details too, such as extra loops, carrying strap, reflective webbing and name, etc. Service online from Arkel was great and the bag arrived quickly. Happy to support a Canadian company, especially one that makes its products here and has a social conscience. I also ordered a Tailrider and am looking forward to using that on my touring bike and maybe getting a seat post rack so I can use it on my road bike too. Thanks and keep up the great work!
