features

		Spray Skirt Notice the extension skirt that allows greater support to larger loads that may exceed the top of the bag and prevents smaller objects from falling out on bumpy rides.
		Drawstring closure The drawstring closure will protect and help stabilize the inside content.
		Removable spray skirt The zippered rain skirt is completely removable depending on your needs.
		Shoulder strap This bag would be naked without it!
		Carry handles Front and rear carry handles allow easy transportation while doing errands or shopping.
		Internal aluminum frame We’ve integrated an aluminum frame that keeps the top of the bag open ready to gobble up knik knaks, groceries, hardware store runs – You name it, the shopper can handle it!!!
		Key chain A small feature that keeps your keys from getting lost amongst the contents of your bag
		Change pocket (zippered) Spectacles, valuables, wallet and watch! You can safely store them here!
		Reflective strips The Velcro strips that hold the pannier bottom in the vertical position are doubled with reflective material for safety.
		Blinker light tabs You will find a nylon tab on the front and rear side of the pannier to hang a blinker light.
		Cam-Lock W/O wire hook and bungee The Shopper was designed as an easy to use, quick on and off inner city bag with a no hassle/simple pannier equipped with a somewhat simplified version of our Cam-Lock system without the lower wire hook and bungee.
		Cam-Lock cover When you’re carrying the pannier, the last thing you want is to have the hook system right up against your body so we’ve installed a cover to soften the would be sharp edges.
		Hinged bottom The back and bottom plates are hinged so the Shopper can be folded right up against the rack when not in use.
		Velcro tabs To keep bottom in folded position
		Dupont Cordura® If it's not Dupont Cordura , it's not Cordura ! We only use the real thing, and it is American made. It's more expensive but you get what you pay for, all in terms of resistance to abrasion and tear as well as durability. Again, nothing but the best, always!

A simple spacious bag. Drop in my camera bag and good to go. Beer run...no problem. Only one thing...I don't like the new rack hanger style. I happened to have one of the old style hanger kits in my bike box. One half I had already used to create a custom pannier bag froma padded smal camera bag. The other half was a perfect replacement for the new style hanger. PERFECT! Thanks Arkel.

I've had my Arkel shopper for about 3 months. It's a great bag, does just what it says it does. It's bigger than a grocery bag, almost twice as large if you have the skirt up. Plastic bottom so it doesn't sag. I've used it to get a week's worth of groceries from the coop. Two 12 packs of beer in bottles from the liquor store. Great bag, really large capacity, and stable without the bottom hook. Has an inside pocket to store small things, a key strap/hook, and folds up fairly flat. Very nice for storing in my locker at work when I am not using it. Easy on off. I put on a better shoulder strap cause I carry so much with it. Great bag, well made, huge capacity. Bill.

great but a couple of flaws Review by mikey

This is one of the largest and well designed grocery panniers out there except for 2 major flaws: 1) the carrying straps are too short if your bag is full and 2) there is no outside pocket to store your wallet or glasses etc. There is a small compartment on the inside that is very difficult to get to if your bag is full. If these problems were resolved this would be the best grocery pannier on the market.

I own two of these and find that they can easily hold a weeks worth of groceries for two people. The design is perfect! The quality is fantastic. They are incredibly simple to use.

The bag is easy put on and take off.I t big enough to put big bag of grocery or my gym bag.It very functional for what I need and frame makes easy to get thing in and out.Love everything about it!!
