Roll top closure
The roll top cleverly folds over once so that the hook and loop velcro meet to create the first closure. Then buckle both ends to the side compression straps, tighten and voila! A dry carry system!

Moulded HMWPE backplate
Moulded HMWPE backplate greatly reduces the wear on the fabric and provides a super strong structure for the pannier.

Quick access open pocket
Quick access open pocket in between outside front pocket and main body of the bag, with mesh bottom for drainage.

Self draining pocket
We designed the open front pocket with an open bottom. A mesh panel allows rain to flow through and not pool any water behind the front pocket and the mesh retains small and large items so you won’t lose them.

Reflective material
Reflective band and piping will give car drivers the nod when you’re riding at night.

Blinker light tabs
Blinker light tabs on each side: Highly recommended for any night time riding!

Side mesh pockets
Handy side mesh pockets provide extra volume on the outside of the pannier and also allow air flow storage.

Fabric
TPU coated 400 Denier Ripstop Nylon with DWR finish on the outside makes these panniers super tough in the long run.

Compression
The roll top closure buckles from the side to provide great compression of the load.

Carry Handle
The Dolphin’s Cam-Lock® hook system and carry handle offer great portability off the bike and make installation on and off the bike a snap.

D-Rings
D-Rings for shoulder strap allows practical back to back or single pannier clip‘n go ability.

I have been using these for more than 2 years for commuting in most weather. They are easy to use and completely waterproof. I love them! Only downside I find is that they are a little awkward to carry off the bike.

Best bags on the market Review by Swervy

I've had a pair of Dolphin 32 and Dolphin 48 bags and consider them the nicest set of bags I've ever owned. After using most of the other top brands on the market , I gravitated towards the Arkel bags because their mounting system is simple and secure. They are much more resistant to bouncing around on your rack, and I have yet to see them pop loose from the rack over many miles of dirt touring. In addition to the mounting system, the dry bag material keeps everything dry without the need for additional liners. These bags are very well thought out and constructed. Despite my desire to see a true roll-top enclosure, these are simply the best bags on the market for wet conditions, for people who love simplicity and durability, and for anybody needing a pannier to mount securely to a rack.
