It could be an apple, a pair of gloves, a wet shirt, a map, we could go on and on as the front mesh pocket is the most versatile and easily accessible pocket of them all. We'll let you find odd uses for it but trust us that whether you are commuting or touring, a mesh pocket comes handy at all times..

Top pocket with "smiley zipper opening"
It would be too easy to manufacture a straight zipper opening. And it would now allow for such a quick and easy access as with our "smiley zipper" path. The opening is curved and opens from the front to the back of the pocket for the absolute widest access. Should you forget to close the zipper, there is a retaining wall of fabric on the four sides of the pocket that will help prevent the content from spilling out. This may make the difference between being stuck out there without your wallet or finding your wallet nicely stashed in the pocket while the zipper has remained opened for the last couple of miles!

Huge main compartment with aluminium frame
The T-28's may be one of our smaller bags but the main compartment will gobble up a surprising load. The removable aluminum frame prevents the top from sagging down and keeps its shape to the bag. A liner separates the backplate from the main body of the bag. The space between the liner and the backplate is ideal to stash a map, paper, envelope or anything you want to prevent from bending. The aluminum frame will lay flat when you store your T-28's until the next riding adventure.

Full zipper opening
The sliders open all the way to the bottom just like a suitcase. You don't get better than this! Your belongings can be neatly organized and finding an item no matter how tiny it is will be a breeze. In this case, packing actually becomes fun!!!

Zipper sliding inward
The access to the T-28's is unique in many ways. For example the zipper path is engineered to go inward and backward at the end of its course. That makes for an incredibly wide opening, perfect for organizing real big loads.

Dual zipper sliders down to the bottom
Ever tried to find a small item inside a big drawer? Guess what, it's always at the bottom. Another reason for our dual zipper sliders to go all the way to the bottom so that you can open only one side at a time.

Reflective bands
To be seen or not to be seen! We don't fool around with safety and so shouldn't you. Reflectors are the next best thing after a blinking light. We take care of the reflectors, you take care of the blinker!

Compression strap
Compression straps serve many purposes. They stabilize the content of the main compartment so that your belongings don’t bounce around with every road bump. And by the way, we use the best nylon webbing there is, and NOT the usual polypropylene that is UV sensitive and that eventually degrades. Our bags are made to last!

Carry handle
Every Arkel pannier has a handle for off the bike convenience. The handle is long enough for a good grip but never so long that it will flap down and rub on the bike wheel. D-Rings for a shoulder strap
All of our panniers have integrated D-rings at the back so they can be carried with a shoulder strap. Again, by placing the bags back to back, you can carry both bags with only one shoulder strap. So it leaves the other hand free to flag a taxi or wave a friend hello!
