Roll top closure
The roll top cleverly folds over once so that the hook and loop Velcro meet to create the first closure. Then buckle both ends to the side compression straps, tighten and voila! A dry carry system!

Moulded HMWPE backplate
Moulded HMWPE backplate greatly reduces the wear on the fabric and provides a super strong structure for the pannier.

Front zippered pocket
Having a front zippered pocket on a rolltop design with taped seams was essential in our eyes. This one is just the right size for items that need to be zippered and safe.

Hidden opening
The space behind the front pocket is ideal to stash gear that has to be kept handy – sun tan lotion, maps, gloves, it’s up to you.

Self draining pocket
In order to create an extra usable pocket on the front of the Dolphin 48, we designed the hidden pocket with an open bottom. A mesh panel allows rain to flow through and not pool any water behind the front pocket and the mesh retains small and large items so you won’t lose them.

Side mesh pockets
Handy side mesh pockets provide extra volume on the outside of the pannier and also allow air flow storage.

Reflective piping
Remaining seen on the road is essential after dark so we’ve placed lots of reflective piping and strips on the Dolphins.

Fabric
TPU coated 400 Denier Ripstop Nylon with DWR finish on the outside makes these panniers super tough in the long run.

Compression
The roll top closure buckles from the side to provide great load compression and assures a dry seal to the top.

Blinker light tabs
Blinker light tabs on each side: Highly recommended for any evening or night time riding!

Carry Handle
The Dolphin’s Cam-Lock® hook system and carry handle offer great portability and make installation on and off the bike a snap.

D- Rings
D-Rings for shoulder strap allows practical back to back or single pannier clip‘n go ability.

In a nutshell:
When we started designing the Dolphin series we had a few ideas about what was necessary to create a truly good dry pannier - after all we've been building dry bags used as liners for over ten years. If you tour or commute and are willing to sacrifice some of the features that our regular touring and urban series bags have to offer in favor of protection from the elements, then the Dolphin's are what you need.
