Shell is solidly attached under the seat
The shell is made of virtually indestructible High Density Polyethylene. The reinforced Velcro is threaded over the seat rails and inside a looplock to solidly close the lateral panels. The front of the shell is also attached with reinforced Velcro to the seat post. The shell protects your valuables against knocks and shocks and stability on the bike of the Arkel Seat Bag is better than any other seat bag on the market.

Accessing the waterproof pouch
Just unbuckle the Duraflex buckle and the lid opens automatically. Slide the pouch in and out at will. Putting the pouch back in place is just as quick and easy.

Look Mom, No Zippers!
No more tiny zipper to struggle with, especially when you've been riding in the dirt and zipper teeth are filled with grime. Just unbuckle the shell and pull out a clean pouch. The roll-top opening is super easy to open and close.

A spacious pouch
A multi-tool, cell phone, wallet, energy bar, spare change and more will fit in the spacious pouch. Seams are tapped for total waterproofness. And you don't have to fidget inside the bag to find the small items. You have the pouch in your hands and you can empty it at will.

Reinforced velcro
Did you ever experience velcro tearing after a couple of years or tearing prematurely due to intense use? We did, so we reinforce the Velcros by sewing and doubling it with a full nylon backing or with a regular nylon webbing. This tremendously extends the life of the Velcro, especially at high stress points. As far as we know, no other company does that, but at Arkel, it's just a regular procedure in order to deliver a far superior product.

Reflectors, Reflectors!
Visibility is key! So, reflective bands are installed on the back, then on both sides, and even on the webbing pull tab. You'll be seen at night or in the rain!

Tab for a blinker
Behind the seat is an ideal location for a blinking light. So we installed a tab to hold one on the back of the Seat Bag. And don't forget that a blinker can turn out to be the investment of your life.!

Here's how the seat bag attaches to the seat.
		Thread compression webbing over left seat rail.
		Thread webbing through looplock on shell panel.
		Thread looplock at short end of attachment webbing over right seat rail.
		Thread compression webbing through looplock at right seal rail.
		Tighten compression webbing as needed.
		Wrap front velcros to seat post.
		Voilà!

In a nutshell:
This is it! The bicycle saddle pannier bag from Arkel. The Arkel Seat Bag! It goes where no other bike seat bag has gone before with absolutely unprecedented and outstanding features. It is made of a four panel shell that is permanently attached with reinforced Velcro under the seat. A 100% waterproof roll-top Thermo-Guard Nylon pouch slides in and out of the shell in a jiffy. No zippers to operate. In addition to protecting the content, the shell compresses and stabilizes the pouch so that the whole bag attachment to the saddle is rock-solid. Let the downhillers put it to the test! The pouch takes 1 ¾ second to remove. Carrying bike tools, a spare tube, a cell phone? They'll stay dry in the worst deluge of rain or mud…! Carrying a wallet and other essentials? Pull the pouch out and bring it safely along with you, it will be clean and you can carry it with the neat “roll-top” integrated handle. No more bending down and searching for your small change with your finger tips inside a small cavernous bag under the seat! Life is beautiful on a bike, enjoy it!
