The Switchback; sized for convenience
A nearly rectangular shape makes the Switchback convenient for books, clothes, laptop and everyday items. The design and features of the Switchback make it equally at ease as a pannier or a backpack.

Pannier and Backpack all in one
The back of the Switchback is inconspicuously normal – with hooks and all, a pannier in all respect. Yet it is also a backpack, easy to transform from one to the other.

Pannier to backpack
Unbuckle the front compression strap, flip the shoulder straps from front to back and re-fasten the buckle – The conversion is complete in seconds!

Hook system is out of the way
The pannier attachment hardware is completely out of the way and is not bothersome at all.

No wire hook
The Switchback is designed as a quick on and off the rack commuter pannier/backpack. The hook system does not include a lower wire hook and bungee. The cams provide a remarkable amount of retention on the rack and lateral sway is a non issue when the panniers are installed even with a minimal amount of weight.

Quick access front pocket
Use this zippered front pocket for all your nic-nac’s. It's opened and closed in a blink of an eye, just what you need when time is of the essence.

Easy access, front loading
The main compartment and front pocket of the Switchback allow optimal zipped access on 3 sides of the pannier.

Blinker light tab
The Switchback comes with a reflective frontal blinker light tab for added safety.

Mesh pocket
The front panel includes a deep mesh pocket for maps, gloves, lightweight jackets or drying your bathing suit!

Compression strap
A nylon compression strap and buckle compresses the load and retains the shoulder straps in pannier mode.

If it's not Dupont Cordura , it's not Cordura ! We only use the real thing, and it is American made. It's more expensive but you get what you pay for, all in terms of resistance to abrasion and tear as well as durability. Again, nothing but the best, always!
