While looking for a name for this pannier, we realized there was no better way to refer to it than "Commuter"! And so the Commuter was born. This pannier has "practical" written all over it! We wanted to make it as simple to use as possible and give it a distinct look that would go over well with all of you fellow commuters out there. Now you can enjoy going to work !!??

Quick access top pocket
The top front pocket gives you quick access via a water resistant zipper to all of your hand held items such as keys, cell phone, wallet and such. This pocket's low profile will keep your items safe and protected from the elements.

|
Compression strap
Not only does the compression strap keep the side pocket from over-expanding it also compresses the main compartment to reduce the size of the pannier when carrying smaller loads.

|
Super strong carry handle
The ergonomically designed carry handle offers an optional carrying position when the shoulder strap just isn't convenient to use and it also works in sync with the hook system to allow for easy on and off the rack installation.

|
Padded shoulder strap
If you're a commuter, you'll know how practical a well made shoulder strap is for those frequent on and off the rack manoeuvres. A nicely padded shoulder strap comes standard with the Commuter pannier.

|
Hook system storage
Notice the clean crisp lines of the Commuter. Not only is the front sleek looking, the back is designed with a Velcro-ed flap to completely conceal the hook system when not on the bike. Carrying is easier because the hooks aren't in the way and no one even notices it's a pannier when the flap is closed!

Hidden rain cover pocket
We’ve added a zippered opening to the flap that covers the hook system and created a great place to store the optional rain cover. The stored rain cover creates a nice cushion over the hooks making your commute even more comfortable.

|
Suspended, padded laptop pouch
Carrying a laptop to work on a bike may seem far-fetched to some but it works wonderfully well with the Commuter. Indeed, the Commuter is designed to carry a laptop in a detachable padded pouch integrated in the main compartment. The top of the pouch is securely attached to the top of the main compartment by double strips of Velcro while the bottom of the pouch hangs about one inch (25mm) from the bottom of the bag. If you ever happen to drop the bag on the floor, the backplate of the bag will take the hit while the laptop sits snugly in the suspended pouch. Long live your laptop!

Laptop pouch stabilization straps
The laptop needs to be well secured inside so it does not bounce around at every bump and pothole. The vertical and horizontal stabilization straps keep your precious gear firmly in place so you can decidedly make your way through the urban jungle.

Internal organizer
Internal organizer: What’s a commuter bag without space to store your keys, wallet, pens, calculator, business cards, cell phone CD’s, MP3 or other… The front of the detachable padded laptop pouch is equipped with a super handy organizer.

Reflective piping
A key to successful commuting is having a bag that will travel with you well at any time of the day. If you happen to go to work early in the morning or leave work late at night and if you are riding in low light or near darkness, the reflective piping we've added will help keep you alive and quickly noticeable by motorists.

|
Main compartment access
A rain flap covers the extra large #10 YKK zipper of the main compartment. This rain flap provides added protection just in case you get caught in an unexpected rain fall.

D-Rings for shoulder strap
Heavy duty D-Rings are sewn to both sides of the bag to allow for shoulder strap carrying ability.

Side stow pockets
In staying with the low profile design, we’ve included two small water resistant zippered side pockets.

Side mesh pockets
The Commuter also has quick access mesh pockets on each side to store small items such as a granola bar, water bottle or even a wet rain cover.

Beautiful lines and clean aesthetics
The Commuter pannier was an instant success as it was introduced last year at the bike industry trade fairs and for many reasons!!! Overall, the clean lines and shear good looks of the bag won everyone over. The age old adage that says “ keep it simple but build it well” certainly holds through.
