Kirsten Kaufman; Selling Houses One Bike Ride At A Time  

PORTLAND, Ore. - When Portlanders want to buy a home that makes it easy for them to bike to the office, they call Kirsten Kaufman, known as the bike realtor.

She specializes in finding people homes that provide easy access to bicycle boulevards, walking paths and public transportation, and she gets to her showings by bike, often takes her clients out to see houses by bike, and of course she uses Arkel bags while doing her job.

To Kirsten Kaufman it's just how she rolls.

"As I rode my bike more and more, I started thinking that there would probably be people like me who would be interested in working with a realtor who knew how to get around the city on a bike," said Kaufman.
